Can Zavitec suggest an Indian HS code?
Yes. You can search by product description or code, and Zavitec suggests official candidate Indian HS / CTH codes with supporting context. Candidates support classification but are not a final legal determination.
Can Zavitec check Indian import policy?
Yes. For a given HS code, Zavitec can show the applicable Indian import or export policy — whether an item is free, restricted or prohibited — along with the conditions that apply.
Can Zavitec calculate import duty?
Zavitec provides an informational import duty estimate from an HS code and country of origin, with an itemised breakdown. Results should be verified before filing and final liability can vary with specifications, exemptions, notifications and trade agreements.
Can Zavitec identify customs notifications and process exemptions?
Yes. Zavitec surfaces the government notifications, exemption entries and anti-dumping references linked to an HS code and can process them to explain which may be relevant. Whether an exemption applies depends on specific conditions.
Can Zavitec identify PGA and regulatory agency requirements?
Yes. Zavitec can help identify Participating Government Agency (PGA) and regulatory requirements associated with an import, so you know which agencies and clearances may be involved.
Can users upload invoices and customs documents?
Yes. Users can upload invoices and documents, and Zavitec extracts the relevant data. Uploaded documents are private to the account and are not exposed publicly or to search engines.
Does Zavitec replace a customs broker?
No. Zavitec is an AI-assisted tool that supports faster, better-evidenced decisions. It does not replace a licensed customs broker or legal advice.
Are Zavitec results guaranteed?
